From what I am reading about MKT 701 and I would go with MADM 701. I have not taken MKT 701 but I have taken MADM 701. MADM was a little time consuming as there was a good a bit a writing each week, but I would say it wouldn't be too bad to pair with ACCT 701. I am in ACCT 701 and the first two weeks of assignments took about an hour each to complete.

I dropped ACCT before the session but according to syllabus it is Cengage.

Mine only went up 4 points. I have not taken the extra credit quiz yet, I feel like I need to read over the material 100 times before I take it. Not sure what to expect.

I haven't taken it yet. I'll probably take it on Thursday depending how I feel and the chapter quiz on Sunday. Side note: anybody else read the email from one of the academic coaches? I about fell on the floor laughing; she was PISSED!

Karla Findley. She gave good, positive feedback on the Introduction post. I just should've paid more attention to Dr. James photo requirements. I'm learning that this MKT701 class does things a lot differently than the others classes I've had in the program.

I'm so glad MKT701 is in the rear-view mirror for me. Keep plugging away guys, you'll have a good sense of satisfaction when the 7 weeks are up.

I am not going to take any of the Blue Ocean/Red Round quizzes until I have had a chance to look at the program for a little bit. I am waiting for groups to be assigned.

Ridiculous! You can't learn in this class. I felt really confident going in. So many people complain about this course. Making simple concepts difficult. Meeks will be a good professor for this course at least you can learn under him. The instructors should not have to evaluate content afterwards. It should be tested prior too. Very confusing questions.

I got a 70 on my exam. So much of this material is common sense, but you get lost with the jargon. If we were all discussing the actual ideas, we would come to a consensus without confusion. The exams are built around tricking us. I've asked to review the exams to understand the material and where we went wrong. We will see. I urge everyone to leave feedback at the end of the course. I will! I've completed 7 courses with an A in 6. I truly feel like I'm wasting my time in this course. (MADM 701)

I took the MKT BOS extra credit quiz last night. It's not bad at all. If all goes well, I'll take the Red Round quiz tonight. With the extra credit and the other assignments I'm up to an A average now for the class but quiz on 3 & 4 is looming. I've read the chapters and took notes and it's all relatively common sense stuff... but so were chapters 1 & 2 and that didn't go so well. I really have no idea how to prepare for this.

Know and understand the "Introduction to BOS Theory (PDF)" and you're all set.
