What's the Difference in M.S and M.A?

I'm starting a masters program in essentially the same exact function. One is a categorized as a M.S and the other M.A. I'm a bit confused as which is seen as more valuable.
Not many universities offer this focus in masters programs so I was just curious.

Masters in art or science

Science and Art? I'd go with Science.

As far as the perception. Is MAs considered pretty much shitty degrees.
I figured the Science was more business related.

That's what I'm thinking. The MS seems more technical. I'd go with that, but then again I don't know what you're pursuing.
Best of luck, though.

I have an M.S. which means I mastered all of science. Duh.

So you're doing a masters but don't know the difference between the two?
Hmm

Well, I was making the decision. I've decided on FIT. I looked at the course offering and they're pretty much the same as the M.A. one. That was my question.

Maybe you should call the department and ask what the difference is. Or it might be on the website.

The difference might be the requirements to enter the program. If you have an Arts background, you might not be eligible for the MS.

Sounds like a technical field. Go with the MS if you can.
Even if there isn't a difference an MS degree would like better in my opinion.

A Master Aquirer. You will continue to become a badass.

Difference is MS will be slightly less worthless than MA. In today's economy ROI isn't guaranteed like it was 10, 20 years ago.

True but in my field it helps. I'm already borderline qualified to head an entire Purchasing Dept., by the time I'm 30, I want to be more than qualified. I've got both my certs, now I just need a Masters. And then I'm in the money.

MS checking in.....I can attest to its worthlessness. Just get in the work force.....unless you want a couple more football seasons.
