That aside, the most memorable LSU game of the John Brady era for me was in 2003 (I think) when the team put up 10 pts in the first half against Ole Miss. TEN f'n points!!!.

2004

Then my boy Neltner drained a 3 to put LSU up.

And not to rain on our Bradysteamroller reminiscing, but his bizarre amount of blown leads are what sticks out too

Weren't we beating Ohio State and West Virginia by 15+ with 5 minutes to go in 2006? The 21 point lead against villanova also stings.

I'll also never forget missing so many damn free throws against UCONN in 2006. We should have won that game by 5

Was it tiger20? I think he was from New York, and I threw down with him so many times as a young lad. Those guys just wouldn't even admit for a second that brady needed to make some changes or take a hike.

I actually think he was also a much better x's and o's guy than given credit for. Some good family friends of mine who, how do I put this..took care of Tasmin Mitchell while at LSU said Brady just stopped being hands on with practices and just chilled in his office or off to the side

Maybe it's just our laid back culture, but Brady punched out after the final four, les punched out after 2007, and Paul Maineri publicly admitted he stood there with two thumbs up his arse after 2009.

Pretty similar to Mack, Auggie, and Barnes at UT. these guys all have it made, just get off your arse

2006 Texas A&M game was a good one as well. Rematch of the tournament matchup from the year before. IIRC, both LSU and aTm were ranked in the top 10 at the time. That was my first game as a student. I remember Big Baby taking that game over.

ETA: tiger20, LSU Beatles and jr33 (something like that) made up Brady's loyal army

i tried to find clips from either of the UCONN games, but this is all I found

LINK

I'll admit I actually enjoyed watching the girls during their final 4 runs. Unfortunately Van Chancellor was far from the guy we really needed. I have a lot of family out at the Uclub and they said he golfed entirely too much for a collegiate head coach

It should prob be on there but the way that season turned out ruins it for me. Went with the uga game where brady never used a timeout cuz we were playing so well offensively. Had 50 at halftime

My favorite was Arizona 2002. Was a crazy crowd and was rowdiest game I ever attended in the PMAC. (That includes Arizona 2000). The 2000 game was more of a celebration the whole 2nd half which was awesome but the 02 game was emotionally draining when Zona was on the come back trail. BUt it was so loud and students were standing on the chairs and doing whatever could to make noise.

2. Zona 2000
3. Ohio State 2005- D-Mitch hit a 3 pointer at end of regulation tos end it to over time. Tigers ended up winning 113-101 Double OT.
4. Neltner tip
5. Auburn and Porter game
6. Florida 2001. No business being in the game. We were terrible and Florida was top 5 if I remember correctly. We ended up losing but the few people in the pmac were super into it. it was loud for such a small number. Why Wilson fouled Haslem at the end of the game still baffles me. 3 seconds to go and let them go to line on just a bone headed play. But with only 6 scholarship players it was awesome to watch them give the dfending champs all they could handle. Robert Royal came in beasting on the boards if I remember correctly.
7.Bama 2002. Last game of season and everyone thought it was winner goes to Tourney loser to NIT. Tight game and the teams hated each other.Crowd was really into it and was fun chanting NIT as bama walked off the floor. Surprisingly Bama got in the tourney that year.
8. Ball State NIT- Sucked losing but crowd was into the game and was sold out. Was good time.
