Wii u is looking good. I wish it had 3rd part support. I was actually thinking last night that I would buy destiny for it if it was made.

Does anyone else's thumb hurt playing MK on the gamepad? I might just be too much of a masher, but after just a few races my thumb was dying.
Didn't compare to my pro controller as I had to take it back. Thing had a rattle like a loose screw rolling around inside of it. Of course it was the last one they had.
Enjoyed WW quite a bit last night. The graphics grew on me very quickly. Will probably pick up a pro controller, SSB Brawl and a Wii mote today. Need to try that digital credit trick as detailed above as well.
Any other must haves out there?

Hush you, I'm just thankful I have a job/lifestyle that'll permit me a $400 quasi impulse buy.

I keep pressing too hard like it's a pressure controller or something i love the gamepad. It's comfortable

I think if the gamepad had a blister/swell on that edge so my thumb could curl instead of lay flat I'd do better. I don't consider myself to have big hands but I've always preferred chunkier controllers (fricking loved original Xbox controllers)

If it's just you the gamepad is fine. If you want a normal controller get the pro gamepad

If you want to play Wii games you need the old Wii motes or Wii controllers as well, which is really where my annoyance stems from.

All you really need is the wii motion plus controllers. The other controllers are just luxuries

I like it. feels comfortable in my hands
also really like being able to play the games on it and not having to use the TV. frees up the TV to be used for other things

it's what I did. no regrets
added bonus: MK8 was out of stock everywhere, so the only way I was going to get MK8 at that time was with the bundle. and the free game by registering MK8
