The baseball team would love that. Good call.

Just curious -- when and what did you last eat in Denham?

Really? I have not been! This is way closer to my house, too. Need to try it.

You might be a Denham Springs hipster. Asahi has some fresh fish. Geisha is mostly cooked. Your average Denham resident likes Geisha.

And Randazzo's is an ok Pocorello's. Which is amazing for LP. I hope it gets and supports more quality restaurants instead of the 10 Chilis I predicted 5 years ago.

For a ball team there are lots of places to eat. Most have been mentioned. Big Mikes, Hooters, Don's, Deangelos. Geisha, Café Phoenicia and the several Mexican joints are ok too. There isn't any fine dining in Denham but for a ball team or grabbing lunch between games it's as good as anywhere.

Geisha, Rotollo's, Randazzo's muffallata is really good, Hooter's if you like scary LP women, Voodoo BBQ. All the mexican food places and cafe phoenecia suck.

I'd go to any of the Mexican and Phoenicia before Voodoo and I like BBQ. Just got to go into the Mexican places with the understanding that its cheap Mexican. 2-1 all day every day is nice. Definitely agree with Hooters, Rotollos and Randazzos

Update--Some of the team went to Bass Pro place to eat and they said it was terrible. We went to Don's because it was close to hotel and it was good.

I don't disagree. And I didn't mean to offend by calling you a DS hipster. More people with taste like yours will mean a better restaurant selection.

No doubt. Guess they pull enough tourists to pay the bills to keep it open (restaurant).

Yeah, it is bad. Would never recommend that place. I went for lunch after Santa pics with my kid because the kids meal was free. Figured, how bad can they really mess up a sandwich. They can.

The one time I went it wasn't that bad. I didn't order seafood though. The honey rolls are pretty good. Its nothing great at all but I didn't think it was as bad as people make it out to be.
