I can't stand that bitch named Alex. I think that's her name...

I think the douchiness is part of their characters suggested by the producers. The contestants all have a sob story about being an obese, one-legged, immigrant whose parents/culture look down on cooks. The judges each have some schtick too.
I heard Conant interviewed on Marc Maron's podcast, WTF, and he came across pretty normal and even likable.
Try Conant's Scarpetta spaghetti recipe. Fricking awesome.I use a version from the SteamyKitchen blog.

Scott, is that you?
Kidding...welcome to the boards. Conant is likable as long as you don't serve him raw onions.
Samuelsson? Really?

Scott is the biggest douche on the judge panel for sure.

She can be a bitch on Chopped, but I like her cooking show and recipes. She is one of the commentators on Best Thing I Ever Ate as well, and she seems sweet.

You pass the CPA yet? I remember you talking about taking it on the Money Board.

Oh man. Shocked to see this.
Alex G. comes across as a smug biatch on Chopped. I caught a few episodes of Next Iron Chef and that only reaffirmed my opinion.
It's funny because a few of my friends feel Amanda Freitag is the biatch, but I find her to be the sweetest judge on chopped.

Freitag seems pretty cool based off her Instagram. So do Scott, Marcus, Marc and Aaron. They're always posting cool dishes they cook at their restaurant, pictures with fans at events, etc.

Yeah, just finished school. Been studying for FAR since mid May, taking it July. Hoping to knock 3 (FAR - 6 weeks, REG - 5 weeks, BEC - 3 weeks) out in this window.

I think I did BEC and AUD 3 weeks FAR 4 weeks and REG 4 weeks. AUD was my lowest score but if you aren't doing anything else you should be able to knock 3 of them out in a testing window. Are you doing becker?

Strictly studying until September when I start work. FAR is so vast, it's overwhelming at times. Just finished the lectures; working on the last set of homeworks then I have two solid weeks of review. Yeah, Becker self study. I'm not sure how to prep for the sims as everything I have read says nothing prepares you for them quite like they are on the exam.

You will be fine, I legitimately don't think I got a single sim right on FAR and got a 93. Everyone learns differently so just study how you have for your classes and you will do great. For me I didn't watch the lectures and just did the homework over and over.

How do the Becker questions compare to the actual exam?

I don't pay much attention to the sob stories. I want to know where they're from and from what restaurant, if they're working for one. I always watch it on the DVR, so I ff through some of it.

It's a mixed bag but usually the becker questions are harder and more arduous. The sims are basically worthless from becker. The 2 becker final exams at the end of each section are harder than the exam and I got 60s on those.

Where is that photo from? Look at the ends of her hair. That's like fake hair from a photo editing app. Someone fricked with a photo of her.

I believe it's from her audition for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie.
Nah, I found it during a google search.
I believe it was some makeover party.

Conant does seem a little uppity, but Scarpetta is definitely a damn good restaurant!!
