what if i told you a statistically significant number of reported "rapes" are false reports?
yet the entire society ignores that portion and uses the total number.
How then could people discredit how often it occurs if they are using data which oversamples the event?

fricking feminist bullshite dogma.

How many scary guys does it take to form a culture? 5? 25? 100? I didn't realize lone wolf losers can compose an entire culture.
Not sure what is so funny about my answer. I was merely replying to the OP that all the talk he is hearing about "rape culture" is probably stemming from that tragedy that took place a couple weeks ago. There are a lot more of those freaks on the internet that could very well act out like that guy did.

I don't think we live in a "culture of rape" but rape culture is something that exists.
I don't see what the difference between "rape culture" and "culture of rape" is

so you're forcing her to drink?
interdasting.....
No but you can still get someone drunk pretty easily. Make them very strong vodka drinks with a sugary base, very hard to taste the alcohol and thus the person gets drunk quickly.

Well, from my personal observation, most women I know never talk about rape occurrences or dwell on the effects of rape. Therefore, from my perspective, its the women that are rape discrediting.

I'd like to see some evidence that this practice is "commonplace"

Oh wait, no, they still chose to drink.

So, NOW....it is a dude surreptitiously getting her drunk. She doesn't even KNOW she is getting drunk.
For fricks (rape?) sake....why not say "using roofies" is bad and is rape. Well, no shite

Nothing you said in particular. I just find it funny (and dangerous) when our society takes the evil doing of one crazy son of a bitch and extrapolates it to an entire "culture".

I find it interesting that "rape culture is real" and "most men {ignore}"...ALL based upon "it feels right to me...my opinion"
Yet, YOUR ASSERTION needs a 'link' for substantiation.

I agree that things get sensationalized for TV ratings but also think it is important to try and understand why a nut job like that guy felt he had to go to such extremes and are more out there like him.

I don't believe I ever said it was commonplace.

but a "culture" implies a widespread adoption of these similar behaviors by the population.
if there is a rape "culture" and this isnt widespread, youve just trashed your own argument.

Culture of instant gratification + culture that makes men feel weak/useless = culture that breeds rapists
Feminists share some of the blame.

More like a culture that breeds chronic masturbators and porn viewers.

But the concept of getting a girl drunk so you can have sex with her is common place, and this is rape.
