Well, not really sports history, but a personal story.

I was warming up for my intramural team. I was going up for a dunk and I took to big of a stride, my right foot slid forward and BAM, tore my groin and hip flexor. I went down like a sack of bricks. I got a bunch of shite from buddies there because it just looked like I fell. The first time I ever remember physically not being able to move parts of my body.
