Here is my breakdown of the Cajuns. If anyone wants to provide an Ole Miss one I would appreciate it.
Geaux Cajuns! Should be a great series.
Starting Pitching: 3 Quality starters. None are likely to shut down Ole Miss – but all are solid pitchers who aren’t likely to blow up.
Sat-Robichaux (2.83 ERA) : 88-92 low arm slot righty. Not a strikeout pitcher, will get a lot of ground ball outs. Effective but not overpowering. A very savvy pitcher.
Sun-Baranik (3.27 era) :high 80’s-low 90’s righty. Not a huge strikeout pitcher. Has been very good all year with the exception of 2 poor starts.
Mon – Boutte (3.09 era) : High 80’s lefty that will touch 90. A little inconsistent, but has been good at holding opponents to 2-3 runs on Sunday.
Bullpen: Very good bullpen for a 3 game series, more quality pitchers, but no elite pitchers/closers
Hicks: (1.43 ERA) Low 90’s righty with a solid slider. Will be first righty out of the pen in a close game
Wilson: (1.95 ERA) High 80’s lefty. Works very fast and challenges hitters. First lefty out of pen in a close game.
Bazar/Plitt: the other 2 options to close out a game. Both have had ups and down, but solid pitchers with plus stuff. Can be effective in the closer role. Plitt – 91-95 Bazar – Upper 90’s.
Lineup: The true strength of this team is their lineup. Hit for average and power, and expect to see a lot of pressure on bunts. Middle infield and 3rd base are also exceptional on defense.
Adams (.387 11HR and 42 RBI)– 2nd in the country in OBP. Just a great all around hitter who will draw a lot of walks. (Projected to be top 5 rounder)
Conrad (.377 9 HR and 65 RBI)– Definitely in the running for best 2nd basemen in the country. RBI Machine and the most complete hitter. (projected to be top 5 rounder)
Trahan (.357 4 HR and 47 RBI)– just a great all-around player (projected to be a top 2 round pick in 2015) Great shortstop and a clutch hitter, but not likely to hit for power
Girourard – (.335 2 HR and 28 RBI)Solid lefty in the lineup. Very disciplined hitter, who will draw a lot of walks
Leonards (.323 4 HR and 34 RBI)– similar to girouard but a righty
Harrison (.317 9 HR 63 RBI) - slumped a little in the middle-late part of the season, but when hot a very dangerous player who can take it deep or bunt for a single. 2nd on team in RBIs (top 5-10 round projection)
Compton/Davis – platoon at 1st base, but mostly Compton lately even against lefties.
Strentz (.236 10 HR 42 RBI) - its usually a K or a HR for him. Overall a dangerous 9 hole, but will not draw walks and K’s a lot.

I'd bet "coach one" is Bruce Peddie

Think Plitt will be the first guy out of the pen in a close game.

I think it depends on what inning the pitching change is made. If its early in the game, I think we might see Matt Hicks come in before Plitt. I wonder who Tony will use as a closer, Plitt or Ryan Wilson? Wilson was used a closer towards the end of the season.

Strentz is going off this series, I predict two bombs

When did they move Monday to a day game?

I just now saw that. I hope that is an error because I want to watch the game at roosters for pitcher night

Monday is 6pm start. Definitely an error.
It really could be Plitt or Hicks depending on the situation. You can only throw Hicks once, so it will probably only be him in a 2+ inning situation.

Every single post on you've made recently is about the name of the college in Lafayette, it's an unhealthy obsession....let it go man

The over under is 11. I know the offenses are good, but these are two quality starters right?

Shut I'm just glad the warhawks snuck in the deal.
