I have gone through phases where I was starting to feel burn out at work.
Many times it was because I was just working too much. Pushing myself too hard between both jobs I work.
Once I had a couple days off to relax and recharge....things always got better.
I think it's just our age. I just find myself getting tired more now in general![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I feel this way every day except I have a low paying job, no social life, and no wife or kids. Its not as bad as it sounds though.

If you have a good girl life is easy, if you don't its tough.

"Luke, if you talk anymore of that pussy arse shite, I'm gonna kick you in the junk until you dream of a case of blue balls!! Nut up and be a man dammit!!!"- what you're best friend should tell you.

The brass ring is time with your wife and kids, time to enjoy life, and time to pursue your passion.
Looks like you may have been headed in the wrong direction.

Yes I have.
I have found the best way to combat it is a hobby or a project of some kind.

Think this all the time. I try to find ways to unwind, destress, etc. Possibilities range from exercise to cigar/drink night. Sometimes it works, sometimes not as much.

It sounds like you're finally maturing enough and realizing Money isn't everything.
Find out what your passion is and pursue it.
If you don't know what it is, start up a few hobbies until you discover it.
Seriously, LSU leisure classes are a good place to start.
Go back to what made you happy as a child.
I recently returned to fishing, and just being outdoors is amazing therapy.

Sounds like you could use a good vacation.

Slide on over to the Outdoor Board and get your mind right.
They can help you with a good fishing spot, or the game of your choice.
Never under appreciate what you still have. A day with your dad on the lake, or ice cream with mom are a luxury to some.
Life isn't measured in currency. It's measured in days. Live for you.

Therapy could help. I know a lot of people think it's just for "crazies" but it really may help you in this situation

but seriously, I'm almost in my mid 30s and I've been through the burnout phase not too long ago so I can relate. It was probably the second most difficult time in my life I still don't know how I fought/went through it. Time will cure it along with less work.
