I'm glad one of those kids didn't try and touch that son of a bitch
Why?
It's non-venomous.
All he would get was a few nips.
Some of y'all have to cowboy up concerning snakes.

It might be a copperhead that's really old or faded because it's about to shed.
My neighborhood blog sent out a blast from a guy who came across two copperhead rattlesnakes in his flower bed. Double Trouble!

ETA: Everybody who is wary of snakes do yourself a favor and Google image venomous snakes of LA.
Once you see them, it's simple to tell them apart from non-venomous snakes.
Then your house wont be infested with mice, which carry diseases, such as bubonic plague for starters.

Pretty good.
Is Kenny still with us, or did a Moccasin Rattler get him while he was swimming at Gulf Shores?

That's one of the most feared of all snakes. The copper headed water rattler.

what the hell are you doing catching them? We will never kill them all with you catching them!
Exactly...we have to keep the necks from killing all non-venomous snakes, since they are beautiful and helpful.
