What braid should I use for snapper/grouper/cobia on my spinning reel setup? (yeah I know, F spinning reels)

110# would probably be overkill on his setup.

I'd use 65 or 80 probably
And a 70# leader is probably overkill IMHO

Yeah, I usually only use about 40# for my leaders. That's the most crucial part to hide from the fish. If your line pops at 65#, I see no value in the leader having an extra 5# as the fish swims away with it.

I am usually not a spinning reel fan, but for cobia, I'd rather have a nice, hefty one so that I can cast well to them.

50# max on your setup. You lose too much line capacity when you go heavier. Just top shot it with a decent leader and you'll be fine. Never understood the desire to over power every setup.
If you're red snapper fishing, you won't need even 50#, if you're tuna jigging or throwing poppers you'll want the line capacity more than the line strength, and if you hook an AJ or big grouper, your braid line strength won't matter as much as your ability to physically move the boat away from the rig before he can wrap you up.
If the max drag you can put out is 30# (and the tightest you'll ever want to set it is maybe 20#), and you're using a beefy leader for abrasion resistance, your braided line strength should be appropriate to handle 1.5-2x your drag setting. I vote 50#.

If I were setting that rig up, I'd use 50#, too.

The Top-shot Revolution
Read that article. I think it is very pertinent for what you're trying to do.

What size reel; 10,000, 8,000 or a 6,000?

I have some Jerry Brown hollow 130#, its overkill but its a beast. I use my 80# powerpro more on a Daiwa Saltist spinning reel

I hope you don't plan on using your boat for this
