A few impressive new features - you can now accept and place phone calls directly from the OSX desktop.
Also, in addition to receiving iMessages on OSX, you can now receive and reply to any SMS message directly from the desktop.

Yosemite is pretty bad arse. Taking incoming calls and dialing out from a Mac is sweet.

iOS8 is looking nice. Like the swipe down to reply to text feature. That was a nice jailbreak option from a few years ago.

You can set a Do Not Disturb for it too just in case you want the texts but not the notifications.
Like what I'm seeing from iOS 8 so far.
