fricking ridiculous... A private business should be able to choose who it wants to do business with.

That was the argument used to have segregated sections of stores and to deny service to black people at hotels and restaurants.

Agree and I am 100% against discrimination of any kind... But I still think a private organization should be able to pick and choose who they align themselves with.

Now if a business chose not to do business with someone based off of reasons such as race or sexuality, they would not get one red cent of my money.

I cannot stand racists and its getting to the same point with homophobes.

Well, then a sign saying 'no shoes, no shirt, no service' is discriminating against a class of customers.

Edit... darn it...I now see that Tiger Saint beat me to it.

Have you ever asked yourself this question; "If the South was so racist that they chose not to do business w/ Blacks, then why did laws need to be written in order to enforce it?"

A result of Jim Crow laws and a problem of gov't mind you.

That was public discrimination using tax dollars, this story is private action using no tax dollars.

Try again.

Except gay and lesbian people aren't a different race.
