former LSU and current Ole Miss assistant Cliff Goodwin for sure.

I've read his name from a couple of people. Why is he so well-regarded? I don't know anything about him.

As far as Tulane being the top job open right now....

If my kid had to commit right now today to one of the schools open right now Tulane would be third on his list.....

we've already got the young up and comer candidate.

Anyway it's finally official, been reported on the Tulane site.

And some quotes

@ScottDKushner: "The bottom line is it was from stress...It manifested itself in waking up at 4 a.m. with panic attacks because I was worried. "I was worried about where our program was going. It was anxiety and it was panic." - Rick Jones

What's so funny? He may not be interested but it's not far fetched at all.

@aaronfitt: #Tulane's Rick Jones confirmed he is retiring for health reasons. "The doctors said I was a candidate for a heart attack or a stroke."
@aaronfitt: He said he isn't going to sit idle—he wants to be involved in baseball in some capacity, but probably not as a coach any longer.

As for Dunn....it might be better to be e pitching coach at LSU. Than the HC at Tulane nowadays.....

It doesn't matter who the coach is if they can't get enough arms in school..
