ULL can never claim the title of the University of La. All of the directional schools are under the same La. system. Tech, Southeastern, Northwestern, UNO and others could claim the same title of the University of La. ULL will never be a factor in any name change. I recently read where ULL had the second largest enrollment in the state, but Southeastern was the fastest growing university in the state.

I'm a die hard LSU fan but I'm really proud of those guys and wish them the best and would be thrilled if we ended up with them in the CWS championship game. I'd want them to get their ever-lovin butts kicked then however....plus, imagine the tailgating selections if both teams made it... YUM YUM!!!!!

I have just never understood all of the ULL shite talking to LSU. The two schools are really only competitive in baseball and that is only every 3 or 4 years.
LSU and ULL aren't on the same level in football and we don't compete for the same recruits.
I get wanting to beat LSU when they play ULL but always cheering against LSU just because it's LSU is weak.

Its not the school itself that isn't liked. Its the fanbase that sucks lol...and they know it! who in their right mind would want your own football coach fired for going 11-2? who boos their own team?

Its all up to the USL fans. If they act like they are the greatest, it won't go well.
If they act like they have a GREAT team this year and can challenge LSU for the title, I'm ok with it.
