I'm pretty sure she never liked you to begin with.

He doesn't have time for that. He's got to go get contacts and then hit the gym.

Last time I talked to her it was very strange. I was working for a company and I called on her business. She and I used to have this strong chemistry with lots of sexual tension. It was still there and it was noticeable how nervious she got. I was not married then. Her mom totally bitched me out after that and told me she was married to keep away from her. Now that I am happily married I just did not want to talk to her in any way. But God my heart stopped...

Does your wife also know that you settled for her and that your heart could never duplicate the kind of passion that you felt for your ex? Cause that would probably be painful for her.

Never understood people who do this.

She still married to the same guy?

Her friends hated me, her mother hated me and they all tried to keep her from seeing me. I used to crack up how we would see each other out and she would leave with me and her whole gang would be so pissed and come tell me I better not break her heart again. I broke her heart one too many times and she got tire of my BS and moved on. Maybe she was cheating but I was not Mr. Reliable. All I know is that as much as I was able to love, I loved the hell out of that girl back in the day. I just saw her and she still made my heart stop...

No, but I thank my lucky stars that I didn't end up marrying the ones who became fatties.

She does. You sound like you speak from experience. I told my wife I made a conscious choice to chose normalcy over madness. The kind of love I had then was immature and stupid...

Terrible advice, feel very bad. Obviously this woman was your one true love and you let her get away. Now you've got a wife you could never truly love and children whose faces only remind you of the never-ending regret that your life has become. So sad that the most meaningful and most passionate chapter in your story ended twenty years ago.....

So yes, you should feel very bad.
