Thanks a lot, Heisenberg.
quote:
A Georgia high school student is waiting to find out if she can walk at her graduation ceremony because of the quote she added to the yearbook.
According to ABC affiliate WSB-TV, Paris Gray received an in-school suspension after the books were distributed at the school in Clayton County, south of Atlanta.
The quote reads, “When the going gets tough just remember to Barium, Carbon, Potassium, Thorium, Astatine, Arsenic, Sulfur, Uranium, Phosphorus.”
quote:
Her mother, Zarinah Woods, said, "My first reaction was 'you are such a nerd.'"
Thanks a lot, Heisenberg.

Starting your life in Clayton County is probably slightly better than being born in Burma.

All those educators couldn't discern that "hidden message" that was published in a yearbook for probably weeks?

Maybe she can learn that every action has its consequences and you have to live with them. This is a very good life lesson learned here. I am surmised she didn't use the card here, but I am suspecting that the administration is also black. I agree with the administration in this case. There has to be a line drawn somewhere and I am glad they did it. It was not classy at all.

Hasn't something like this been done or rumored about before? Seems a lot like some sort of internet prank sort of thing.
