Maybe you should change the title of your thread. "Conspiracy theories" usually require an intricate level of coordination and therefore preclude "plausible" information.

And to the person who said there was no motive to let the attacks happen. Passing the patriot act stripped more of our rights in one swoop, than they could have done with decades of tapering.

Most of the 'conspiracies' are probably due to the fact that hindsight is 20/20. I'm fairly confident that there was advanced, detailed warning of the 9/11 attacks that would seem like huge news if it were released. At the time however, it probably was just lost in the shuffle. Kinda like if I called BRPD and told them someone was gonna get shot in north BR today, then tried to make it into a conspiracy later.

There is no theory. The John O'Neill thing has been widely documented and discussed due to the strangeness of the story. It's a pretty amazing coincidence, wouldn't you agree?

Someone getting shot in North BR and two of the biggest towers in NYC being taken down are two completely different things.
One happens every day...the other, well should never happen.

Pretty reasonable. I think it is pretty well documented that there were a lot of smart people in various agencies convinced that an attack was forthcoming. It's also confirmed that we had prior warning of the likely use of airliners. But yeah, with all of the traffic those agencies deal with, hard to look back and criticize too much.
