I absolutely hate LAX. Whenever possible, I try to fly out of one of the other LA-area airports.

I never understand the hate ATL gets. Yes it's big and busy but there are tons of places to sit, tons of good restaurants etc.

If I have to stuck in an airport for a long layover, there are not may airports I'd rather be than ATL.

This is the truth. LAX sucks.

If I was OT baller but too cheap to buy a private jet, I'd fly in and out of Ontario. Its small and there is not much there but it is incredibly efficient.

JFK - Honorable Mention, the physical plant is bad and the clientele is mainly like the UN had advertised they were having a rummage sale where all items would be a nickel or less.

I actually like CLT except for the main carrier who services it (US Airways).

MSY is OK.

LAX is a zoo. Last time I was there I walked in to the bathroom and there was a cross dresser with his/her luggage sprawled out allover the floor and counter putting on make up and a wig.

That's not true, there is a bus that runs between each terminal. I will agree with you thought that Newark is currently the worse, the inter terminal train is under construction and one of the main runways is under construction throughout the summer. If you have Newark on your travel itinerary I'd recommend you change it.

Normally my least favorite airport is O'hare, that place is the worse layout I've ever come across with Dulles as my 2nd least favorite.

it's been remodeled, all airports are in a perpetual state of renovation
one shite box that has gone neglected for an usually long time is STL, haven't been there in a year or two though

Wow, you can tell who doesn't travel very much. Atlanta is by far the best. You will never, ever beat your bag to the baggage claim, every bathroom is usually clean and you have a ton of decent airport food. ATL TSA is pretty fast relative to other TSA screenings. If you have issues with rental cars at ATL, I'm surprised you figured out how to post on here.

If we're talking major airports, LAX and Chicago Midway are terrible.

Depends on how you define bad.

If you mean waiting forever through security, Dallas Love Field (only one security entrance for the main terminal, takes at least 30 minutes to get through).

If you mean waiting for your baggage, Midland-Odessa is really bad considering there's only one baggage carousel, the carousel loading station is right next to it (not like DFW where you go through a maze of conveyor belts), yet you can still wait 20 minutes for your luggage.
