Where did I say it was the sole reason? I stated that Bregman receiving preferential treatment could be an issue. And that preferential treatment included, but was not limited to, the official score keeper.

Ive never heard of anyone starting on 1 day rest. Doesnt matter how much you throw. Its the mental part. I just dont get the point of throwing 20 pitches

Coleman and Bradford used to do it by closing on Friday, and starting on Sunday.

It's more or less a bullpen session which he'd be doing anyway. He'll just be facing live hitters. It's why we usually pitch 7-8 people every midweek game.

Bullpens are often thrown two days before a start. Some coaches go full pens, others have them work flat ground. Using a live game is odd though

Everyone relax if there was turmoil on the team russian would have been told all the details at the coaches committee meeting. He then would have posted it here as breaking news even though it had been on twitter for an hour. If people questioned him about it he would call everyone names and delete all his posts.

I was a pitcher, i understand the whole bullpen idea, but not for 1 day rest, i could see if the game was today
