"Ambassador Stevens wasn't murdered, he died of smoke inhalation."

Video of that statement

They don't see words the same as we see them. To tell a lie is best, as long as it is for their own good.

By the way, you are scum and are misconstrued if you question anything about this administration.

So I guess the other 2 guys died of natural cause secondary to acute hypovolemia in response to precision mortar rounds, fired by protesters in response to their outrage from a Muslim video. What difference does it make is selling to the media elite...

It's the big picture, man. Any lie, any tactic, any sneaky, slimy ruse to convert the US into what they think will be successful and modern USSR, with a handful of wealthy, political elite, that knows what is best for all of us, running the show.

Meh! Swing voters who the GOP needs are much more concerned with the economy and health care than benghazi.

But hey if the Republican party wants to keep the focus away from the economy and health care it's their funeral at election time.

No election will depend on Benghazi. More innocent people died to bungling in the early days of the Iraq War and Bush still won.

Your mistake is thinking the core issue resides in Benghazi. It doesn't. If the Special Committee is able to gain testimony of the five Consulate survivors, it will turn this on its head. It will do so on basis of the cover up, and hopefully it will rip the innards out of a complicit DC press corps.

Yeah the same press that cheer led the war in Iraq.

Odd how the U.S. death count stopped as soon as Odrama took the reins of those wars.

You can't be this much of a hack. Then again, I guess you are.

Smoke inhalation. Who in the hell caused the smoke Eleanor? The man was murdered in a terrorist attack.

It was kind of peculiar that we kept getting casualty reports from Iraq when Bush was the Pres and those stopped all of a sudden when His Majesty Hussein I took office.

Republicans are projected to control both chambers after this next election. Perhaps that is a 'living wake?'

So those bullets were just props then? I see.

@May 9th and she's still clinging to the video excuse. What a chode.

I've heard that picture is people dragging his body to safety. Considering he died in a hospital that's probably true. If terrorists got a hold of his body there's no way we get it back. At least in one piece.

Agreed in the sense they were not part of the group that attacked the SMC. After the attackers and the CIA rescue team left the compound, the curiosity seekers and looters were in and out of the grounds all night long. The people quoted in video clips at the compound talking about the video were a part of this "after-event" crowd, which hung out there all night.

They may well have thought they were carrying his body "to safety" but unfortunately this

quote:

Considering he died in a hospital

is not true. He was definitely already deceased after more than two hours of exposure to extremely high toxicity smoke. Smith's body was recovered almost two hours before those guys found Stevens, and the last time Wickland saw them, Smith and Stevens were together. All indications are that the younger Smith was able to stay closer to Wickland in the escape route to the window before losing consciousness, and that was why his body was found by the Americans and Stevens' wasn't.

I suppose died in the hospital was a poor way of saying his body ended up there. He's obviously deceased in that picture.

Just to be clear, my statement was not directed at you, but to anyone who believes that Stevens somehow miraculously lived long enough to die in a hospital. They should be saying he was pronounced dead at a hospital.
