Long thread on the outdoor board. Sad situation. Apparently the victim invited the thug to go fishing. Thug robbed him and shot him in the head with the victim's own gun.
you left out the drugs part

uh no...it does give a bit of a motive behind the murder

it's ok to kill him, he was doing drugs? WTF

Just execute him. He has proven he is dangerous to society. Just kill him.

you can guess which was the murderer
This makes me sick, the news made it seem as though this guy was a model citzen, "family oriented", "just got his life back on track"... I think it's pretty black and white here. DRUG DEAL GONE BAD. Not saying anyone deserves to die, but there is a lot to this story that we don't know. Not taking up for the killer at all, he deserves to rot in jail, but lets not make it seem like there's an animal on the loose killing "INNOCENT" people!

That's always a possibilty, but damn, you sure jumped to an unsubstantiated conclusion.
The other thread said the victim had at least $3k cash on him at the time. I'm sure there was a totally legit reason for that.

I agree.
I just don't understand taking someone's life because of drugs.

So murder is justified for street justice then?

yeah me either, because we are sane, respectable people
I'm not saying that drugs being involved makes any of this ok, I'm saying that it makes it more than the black guy going all "KILL WHITEY!" on his fishing buddy
