Never had a problem with them. They sent me numerous emails and were delivered by 8am on valentines day. My gf received many compliments. It all depends on the the local florist that they use. The one in Baton Rouge did an excellent job.

They were always as good as going to a nearby florist for me. I am in Houston, though, and I think we either have a local Pro Flower storage or they use the florists down the road.

I now use local shops for my wife just because, and either Pro or 1-800 Flowers (for mom who is in LA), and there is no noticeable difference to my untrained eye.

Mine were shipped from Dallas.
My buddy said his were shipped from Houston.

Maybe your location depends on where/what you get.

I bought some roses for my wife from them for valentines day. They shipped fed ex and fed ex delivered them to the wrong address. No biggie. The flowers were in good condition. However, she had to put them in the vase IIRC as they were delivered in a box.

Watch out for any hidden fees. I can't remember if it was Pro Flowers or that 1-800-Flowers bs, but they have hidden fees and take money out of your account monthly without you even realizing it.

I sent some to Italy from ProFlowers after getting gangraped by FTD on Valentine's Day. They were just what I ordered.

I'm always happier when my husband brings home a bunch. He buys them from the Supermarket and I have nice vases.

Sams has fresh, so does Winn Dixie and Rouse has a very nice floral dept.

If you live in another city, find a local florist and order it yourself over the phone.

Personally, I prefer Jo Malone English Pear and Fresia lotion this Mother's Day over flowers. If you know what your Mom wears, you can always order her scent online and have it sent. That way she enjoys her Mother's day present for a long time.

If you're in BR, don't use Heroman's. I had a huge problem with them on Valentines day, posted about it, and it turned out the problems with them were very common

I've used them about 20-30 times over the past few years. They put out a great quality in my experience. The flowers always lasted 7+ days.

I ordered some flowers from them last year and the quality was terrible. I complained and they sent more flowers and those were also terrible. I will not order from them again.
