Sounds like you are a perfect candidate for the military, even if it is something like Nat Guard or Reserves. School isn't going to do anything for you at this point in your life

I graduated with a business degree from Southeastern. They have made HUGE strides over the last 4-5 years in the business dept. The econ, business, accounting, finance professors are all legit. They just opened several bloomberg labs in the business building and are really doing well. I loved the 2 years I spent at SLU after transferring.

You sound mad.

OP, you can get decent/good jobs coming out of either school. It depends on what connections you have or make.

Well my dream was being in the film industry.
But I need to be real. A business degree was doable. Im not smart enough for engineering/ medicine...

A job where I get to travel the world be cool too.

Then you need to get out of English. All you'll do is teach kids or wait tables with that.

Head to SELU or ULL this summer with transcripts.

SELU has a supply chain management degree they offer. I've always found that to be intriguing and think you would be able to find a good job with it.

I went to SLU, graduated with a degree in Accounting, and now I work for an accounting firm doing taxes. Hammond can be a great place if you know people in the area. I rushed and had a great time while I was there! But it is mostly a commuter school, so if you want to live in Hammond you might as well rush because most of the people who live in Hammond and stay on the weekends are greek.

If you are going to major in accounting, econ, finance, or supply chain management then the business school is great and will most likely lead to a career. If you are going to major in business administration, management, marketing, or some other generic business degree then you will more than likely need to get your MBA because those majors by themselves rarely lead to careers.

But ULL can be fun as hell and the women are smoking!

This sounds like it should be your last concern based on your situation. I doubt the "social scene" at SLU even holds a candle to what you will find around LSU anyway. To me, it just sounds like you're looking for a way out of a situation that you could easily make better if you just worked a little harder and used the resources around you.

Probably the best kept secret about SELU. With the nursing, education, and even business schools being pretty good, the girl to guy ratio is silly.
