My CSB. Wife (no pics) and I ventured to the old Las Vegas downtown today and came across a random LSU crawfish boil fundraiser. Michael Clayton spoke a little bit and donated some gear to an auction.

It was $40 and you got one pound of crawfish.

It was their annual Alumni Crawfish boil. Everyone was eating probably. I saw more pics from the event.

In the defense of $40/lb mud bugs, it does take a considerable amount of effort to trap a pound of crawfish in the Las Vegas zip code.

The crowd left during the break.

Looks like an average LSU home game during 4th quarter.

It was cool to run across it. The $40 also got you free booze

Ha the rest of the story. They probably lost money then.

Most of the alcohol is donated. The turnout was really much better than in that picture. The $40 price was for walk up traffic. You could also pre-order 5 lbs for $70 or so. And it was on Freemont Street, which was amazing.
It was a pleasure to meet and speak with Michael. He took pictures and let us hold his championship rings. Got a signed copy of his book.
