I live just south of Memphis, so i have to deal with the prices. They were pretty good. We supposed to be in Hopedale for a fishing trip mid June. Aunt an Unc from da parish pre-katrina. Miss visiting down there.

Smoking some ribs, chilling on the deck watching the water....life is good

I'm now smoking two racks of baby backs, a few chicken breasts, and a couple of venison hamburger patties in my Masterbuilt electric smoker.
The wife and I loaded up 4lsu2jr, the two dogs, a stroller, an ice chest of cool beers and juice boxes, and a fishing rod to spend an hour or so at one of the neighborhood ponds. A neighbor has been wearing out the 2 pound bass lately. Today was a shite show for us. One lady couldn't interpret her lot line and the servitude of the hood and threw a fit about our existence. I don't know if it was my dachshund taking a shite in her yard or us, but that conversation went over like a terd in the punch bowl. Let's just say we won't be back trying to fish and drink beer behind her crib. We moved to another spot and the 32# miniature dachshund was trying to fetch my bait and ended up needing a savior for his life in the next pond.
All in all, it's been an exciting day to be outside.

No way your dachshund would cause trouble.

Has anyone hear ever heard of "Fox's Pizza Den"?
One just opened up in Shreveport, it looks to have a pretty vast menu and good potential.

Livin the dream.
Farm Day festival all day, then a ton of yard work. I'm beat. I'd go fix a stiff drink if I felt like getting out this recliner.
