Damn....it was lucky he didn't injure or kill several kids! Talk about making the national news (not that BR is a shining example of the ideal place to raise a family in the first place)!

Yes! Because clearly this would never happen anywhere else in the country!

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Friday afternoon's shooting at the corner of Jonah Street and 44th in Baton Rouge has been described as surprising and shocking. A 12-year-old boy shot a gun at a school bus full of students.
Baton Rouge Police say the 12-year-old got into a fight on the school bus. He got off the bus around 3:30 p.m., ran into his home, grabbed a gun and went outside and started shooting at the school bus. Three shots hit the bus, fortunately no one was hurt.
The 12-year-old then ran off before police arrived and police were searching for him with the help of his parents. He was found just before 5:30 p.m.
Officials with Kenilworth Science and Technology school contacted parents to notify them of the situation.
Quellique Surf lives down the street. She said her brother is best friends with the shooter. Surf and other kids in the neighbor say the shooter was bullied, but Surf said she didn't see this coming.
"I've never known [the 12-year-old] to be that type of person. So I'm pretty sure that he must have been bullied very badly to where he had to bring a weapon and get a weapon involved," said Surf.
Surf believes violence is not the answer, but understands there is only so much someone can take.
"There are no excuses for trying to kill someone. I am not going to lie, but sometimes people get tired and they can't take it anymore," said Surf.
The 12-year-old has been booked into the Juvenile Detention Center on six counts of attempted first degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, aggravated criminal damage to property and juvenile in possession of a handgun.

What I was saying is if there would have been injuries or deaths, it would have made the national news...thank goodness this didn't happen and everyone was ok!

Maybe I need to check my privilege but I can't trust someone named Quellique.
ETA: She is an actress and her last name is SERF! Also, she does "good" in school!
