Officer-involved shooting reported in Tigerland

The shooting happened in the 4600 block of Y A Tittle Avenue around 1 p.m. Narcotics officers were reportedly on scene when the shooting happened.
Witnesses told News 2 they heard several shots being fired, and law enforcement were seen administering aid to someone at the scene.
Law enforcement contacted by WBRZ said they did not have information they could release at this time.
News 2 will have more information as it becomes available.

UPDATE:
BATON ROUGE- Deputies shot a man in the head when gunfire was exchanged between him and authorities in Tigerland Friday afternoon the sheriff's office said.
Sheriff Sid Gautreaux told WBRZ News 2, Lionel Gilmore, 24, was arrested on three counts of attempted murder on a deputy as well as drug charges. He said Gilmore fired at deputies who had blocked his car and his agents returned fire.
The shooting happened in the 4600 block of Y A Tittle Avenue around 1 p.m. as the agency was attempting to serve a narcotics warrant. Deputies said they found suspected heroin inside Gilmore's apartment.
No deputies were injured and Gilmore was taken to an area hospital.
