Dark Souls II worth a shot?

I have been a huge fan of the diablo games and I see dark souls II got great reviews. Thinking about trying it out. Yay or nay?

It fun. Not as hard as i expected it to be, but still fun and good atmosphere.

Ds1 is one of my favorite games ever.
But... i couldnt finish ds2. Just wasn't as good/fun/rewarding.
Id recommend ds1 over ds2

Dark Souls isn't really anything like the Diablo games.
That said, definitely play Dark Souls, and then Dark souls 2.

Dark souls 1 prob makes you work for it a little more. I think the lore may be a bit deeper, even if you do have to really dig for it
Game play is similar in both. Most of the noticeable differences you'd have to play both to know and appreciate. Or hate
Def play ds1 if you haven't, and then ds2. 1 is better but 2 is still a damn good game

Dark souls is hard
diablo is easy
dark souls doesnt require grinding for progression.

Pc version would require a lot of mods and possibly a controller to make the experience worthwhile

Its about the same, just play it with your 360 controller. The KB/M set up is TURABLE!

Some harsh criticism of Dark Souls 2 up in here.
I can understand seeing a slight drop off in quality, but being unable to finish? that's a bit of a knee jerk reaction.

I decided to watch 34 episodes of game of thrones in 2 weeks. Thats partially the reason I quit ds2.

well I currently have a fully updgraded demon axe, and claymore - with 40+ into dex and str... depending on my enemy, nobody survives, not in pvp, or pve, for very long.
I'm thinking by the time I get to 4 kings, I'll have the black knight great axe ready, and just destroy them extremely fast before the others even pop if I can.
