He says he expects for at least 15 of them to play.

Highlighted quinn, Dupre and four netted on offense as well. Said they will have to earn their playing time but he expects lf Magee and Hilliard to carry the load.

Mentioned John battle and Jamal adams having a chance to compete for time at safety.

Miles doesn't make out the lineup card on that side of the ball.

It will still be a huge upset if 31 is not standing 5 yards off the ball on our first defensive snap in Houston.

Miles doesn't feel the slighest bit of pressure going on this tour and telling people what they want to hear.

Still, I like hearing it anyway. Lol

SS is the biggest concern for me. I would love to see Jefferson there but I'm not sure he can provide the run support needed. Someone is going to have to step up big time in that spot.

Really happy to hear about paris at nickel already. He's as good as advertised if he locks down the third spot as a true freshman.

I think one of quinn/dupre will see very significant playing time, if not both. I like the talent we have now but these are elite athletes. What quinn accomplished speaks for itself and dupre is college ready IMO. How he executed his role at curtis will pay dividends for him.

I have a really good feeling about this '14 class and this team going into the season. The offseason sucks.

I would go back just for the food

It was cool though....gordy rush mentioned 104.5 bout 50 times but all in all it was fun.

They showed a super fast forwarded video of the stadium expansion that was awesome. They are about to renovate the football facilities again and build athletic dorms with nutritionalists on staff and chefs to cook based on their assigned diet.

But but Welter knows the playbook and ubderstand the defense!

Which is the reason he started last year...things change with time, other players gain knowledge and experience after they've been around for a year or so. Although I know that is a concept that is over the head of quite a few on here...
I agree with this 100% ForeLSU. I could care less who starts and who plays for LSU, as long as they are the best at their postion.

With that lineup, it seems like Miles is pulling out all the stops. If Harris is ready right now, let's do it.

I see Dupre coming in and taking that spot from Diarse and regulating him to slot. I see Quinn as the backup to Dupre and Leslie the backup to Dural. Quinn might backup slot too and I see Bolden playing some. The rest sit out most of the year or redshirt (Chark, Upchurch).

I'm guessing Gordon gets the nod at TE because of his blocking ability (basically a third tackle with hands), but I'm sure that Smith will be in on a lot of 4 and 5 receiver plays.

I really want Fehoko to start. He has a nasty streak and is possibly the strongest on the team.

On the point of Beckwith, this is a glorious thing. We need better athleticism at that position, and now we have it. We probably have the fastest LB core in the country and definitely the fastest starting three.

The backfield features the 3 starters from last year and Robinson (who should have started earlier). Two of our best pass defending efforts, were with the combo of Loston Mills White and Robinson. I think Martin can come back healthy and away from the things he had to deal with and provide a dangerous secondary

Miles even having the thought of letting a true freshman field kicks tells you how good the guy is. Also I saw White on his int returns (dude will make an excellent PR.

Can't wait to see Garrett smack the shite out of somebody!
