You say that like there aren't enough LSU fans in this area to put a good crowd in the Superdome. Playing an hour from campus and keeping money in the state is better than playing four hours away out of state.

every fricking student that gets tickets to the game will be down in the quarter, getting drunk off of hand grenades. we play a team like Texas in the Super dome, the bring their oil money over her and spend baby spend.

Yeah it would be cool to keep the money in the state.

And no way Houston has more lsu than BR. That's just dumb.

I've been for a kickoff game I'm Nola for a long time. I hate playing cupcakes and the first few homes games are way too uncomfortable to tailgate in. Give me the bars until it cools down a bit

I should have said LSU alumnni, and it isn't dumb at all. Houston has more people than the entire state of Louisiana. Houston is the largest alumni base. BR may be third

If ULL can fill that stadium, we should be able to fill it 3 times over.

But would LSU necessarily be one of the teams? Wouldn't they like to bring in more out of state $$? The kick-off games in Dallas and Houston don't always include an in-state team. I'd love a kick-off game in NO if LSU is in it, but would hate it if not.
