I'm not suppressing anything. Look at it as freeing them of their undue burden to participate in the tiresome political process.

Ah yes, they will finally be free from "voter lock". They can now pursue their dreams of child bearing and cooking dinner without worrying about needing to vote and waste time researching candidates.

That's better. Politics is all about semantics.

There's one thing that this bill is retarded about, and its the fact that a cop can't ask to see your license for the sole purpose that you have a concealed weapon. Seriously, what's to stop some crazy dude from walking into a mall with an obviously concealed handgun, and then shooting up the place? I hate the cops, but I think they should know if you have a permit to carry around a lethal weapon of that caliber.

Guns in bars and nightclubs is an extremely bad idea.
Has been legal in TN for quite some time. So what is the problem?
....Have you ever been drunk before? Do you know how drunk people think? They act before they think and don't give a frick. It is a horrible, horrible idea for a drunk person to carry around a gun.

It's like insurance. You don't need it, until you need it.

Haven't read the law but is there a bac limit? You know, like there is now at restaurants and such?

I'm not going to call you a name, but why shouldn't a law abiding citizen have a M-16?
Why the frick would a civilian need an M-16? Do they expect an invasion of their house from several dozen armed men?

BLM is a perfect example of why the 2nd Amendment exists.

I own a 9mm and a 12 gauge, fwiw. IMO, the issue with gun rights isn't taking guns away from law abiding citizens, it's the proliferation of unnecessary weapons.

The issue with "gun rights" activists is not that. It's their idea that assault rifles should carry the same type of protection

Amen!
I have a black powder muzzle loader.
If I hit drizz over the head with it, would he call it an "assault rifle"?

Civilians can't buy new M-16s. We can buy semi-auto rifles that look like an M-16.
Now we have to prove a need before legally purchasing something?

I know you're trying to be clever, but an AR-15 is a legitimate self-defense tool. Nobody has a problem with a cop carrying an AR, because after all, he/she may have to deal with dangerous armed criminals. Do civilians not have to deal with these same assholes? Is there a group of exceptionally dangerous criminals that only fricks with cops, but leaves civilians alone? My brother's home was invaded by 5 armed robbers, so lets not pretend like encountering multiple assailants can't happen.
