The obvious clear cut no contest winner:

Len - Steal my Sunshine

A few others that make the cut:

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer

Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

Velvet Underground - Waiting for the Man

I'll probably think of some more later and share them with you. Please everyone contribute. And serious submissions only, thanks

While it's all subjective, this is one of my favorites and has withstood the test of time:

Nights in White Satin - The Moody Blues was the soundtrack to my first time. That is why it is the best song ever.

Blue Sky 9-19-1971

To my knowledge, this is the only live version of Blue Sky with Duane around. Absolutely spectacular performance by the entire band. There's not a song in this world that can make me as happy and calm.

My all-time favorite rock song, Eight Miles High. Here's an extended jam version featuring McGuinn along with the band's best musicians' lineup: Skip Battin on bass, Gene Parsons on drums and the legendary Clarence White on guitar.
