Find me a local price (BR/NOLA Area) for a Goodman Evaporator Coil, part number P140142.
The part houses run a racket and won't give out prices to non-HVAC contractors.

I called Johnstone and they wouldn't release the price. They are probably high as frick, because they suck, but they do have 2 in stock.
The issue is making sure the high/low lines are on the correct side off the coil. Buying online is a crap shoot and you may end up getting the wrong part.

The key is to call multiple mechanical contractors and get them to submit bids to supply the part and the labor. There's like 5 different Bernhards that all compete against each other. I would start with them.

I'm looking for uncased coils and none of those on the site you posted match my part number.
I did find one on waterpumpsnow.com for $471, but they have no pics of it. Trying to verify that it's a match.

Not being a jerk, but how could all this effort be possibly worth it in terms of cost savings?

The system is an R-22 system.
It's either replace the leaking coil and recharge (~$750), or have to replacement both the AHU and outside unit to switch over to R-410A: $5,000+. The current unit is a little more than 6 years old.
I'll be able to evacuate the system of R-22 (capturing 4-6 lbs) before I break the loop, thereby saving some R-22 costs when I recharge it.
The $5,000 cost is the extreme low end for a new system. I've seen estimates up to $9,000.

$348.90 at 1st Source Serveall
I don't have many HVAC company accounts. They are the only local appliance company with it.

Bernhards don't get out of bed for residental work. Commercial or Industrial.
