So, I will be living out of a 5th wheel for the next month due a job assignment. The grandparents had a 25' compact 5th wheel they will let me use to save some money.

Few questions:

They RV park supplies cable and internet. How does this work, will i need to bring a router to hook up for the internet? Or will there be some sort of jack that i need to run to?

Also, my grandfather wants to tow it out there for me but i think he is getting too old to do all that. How much can i get a 5th wheel hitch put in for and can i get one that can be easily removed/replaced for easy use?

Any tips for things to buy would be nice also. I plan on buying a new grill for the month and a TV as they don't have one in there. Also plan on getting an Apple TV or something along those lines to watch netfilx and all that good stuff.

Thanks for the help.

Park internet will probably be wi-fi.There is a fifth wheel hitch that is easily removable, for your pick up, probably pricey though. check prices online.

What line of work are you in? Pretty awesome the grand parents are letting you use their stabbin cabin.

Hitch is probably around $750 and maybe $250 for the install. The hitch itself can come off, but the rails typically stay because they go through the bed. You are also gonna need a harness hooked up, and that'll be another $250. I'd say budget for around $1500 so you won't be surprised by anything.

If you have an Android phone, root and wifi tether 4G. Get a $15 rabbit ear antenna for the TV to get local channels

*If you've never towed a 5th wheel, let your grandpa do it for you. It's harder than a regular trailer

1100 for hitch and install. Get one that you can flip the ball downward to hide it and make it flush with your bed. I don't suggest towing the trailer for your first time. Praxtice first

fight the urge to just open the drains and treat sewer like home. when you do that, solids stay in the tank and liquids run out. smells sorta like death taking a shite.

drain black water, then gray water to flush the line. then add a few gallons to the black water tank and top with some blue tank chemical.
