And yes, I agree that because they are Muslim, people will be more apprehensive of condemning them. Why? Because Muslims have been so routinely targeted in this country since 9/11.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with it has more to do with the repeated videos of them cutting the heads off of people who are in anyway remotely associated with Islamic criticism.
