Got in my pool for the first time this year on Sunday. Air temp was above 80, and the water was 75 (according to the panel).

It was pretty cold last week in the pool. Didn't care, still went in the entire weekend.

Question: Does that not send your gas bill through the roof? Mine has a heater, as well, but we only use it for the spa. I've yet to use it for the pool because I didn't want to get a ridiculous gas bill.

Also, about how long does it take to heat the pool? Mine is 16,000gal fwiw.

I never stopped! When it's 70-80 degrees during the "winter" days out here and you have a heated pool there is no reason to!

Went swimming with my SO for about 10 minutes on Saturday.

Water was very cold, but her pool never really gets any sunlight.
