Creed aventus is amazing, but extremely expensive at msrp. I recommend checking out basenotes.net for cologne reviews and such. They have a for sale section in the user forums where people sell "splits" of fine fragrances at affordable prices. There are boutique brands that you have never heard of that make very nice and unique scents.

Don't wear that crap during business hours. There is nothing more disgusting than to shake hands with a man and have his scent rub off all over your hands. Use a light aftershave if you must but it shouldn't precede you into a room. I recommend something like this:
