Last time I checked he's a student-athlete. Kid had a bright future and needs to get his shite together.

Just saying, if his grades were reported on (or if anyone who is not Les Miles calls his academic eligibility into question) without his permission, he could sue for violation of privacy or libel.
And like I said, there's a month left in the semester, how would Scar or anyone else know if he's able to bring his grades up or not?

There's no way it's academic. There's over a month left in the semester. And student academic records are private and thus not available for reporters. So unless Scar has some very real, very private info about drug use or improper benefits, I'm gonna say bullshite.
This. Unless it's an attendance issue there's nothing to see here. There is no way he could know what Robinson's grades are.
ETA: And if it is an attendance issue that's easily solved. Just send one of the GA's to wake him up and personally take him to each of his classes.

Geeze, it is Mike Scarborough people. A random person sitting in Mall of Louisiana tomorrow at 11am knows as much about LSU football as Mike does!

I have a class with him right now and he's always in there. He sits in the front row and actually pays attention! I say that because he isn't sleeping, on his phone/iPad. It's the easiest class at LSU and if he's failing the class then there's no hope

Private? Yes technically.
But the coaches, GAs, Tudors etc would all know if his grades are disastrous and so would his friends probably. People talk, it's human nature

I think an essay on Jerry Lewis would be funnier, especially if Rashad is allow to become animated with acting in class - hold that tiger 10

Sue who and for what?
And this wouldn't even come close to the definition of libel.

R Robinson is not ineligible. Mike doesn't have a fricking clue what he is talking about. He has zero inside sources. There are much closer sources to program reporting as we speak that he is not. Anybody that wound listen to that guy is either stupid or needs to find a better source before posting inaccurate information.

After 1/2 or whatever day that was, I don't believe any of those experts or any tools on this site that pretend to know who actually knows things.
frick them and everyone on TD.

The person reporting on his grades (in this case Scar) for invasion of privacy. Regardless of how he comes across the info, it is still private and thus he is not within his rights to report on it.

If it turns out that the information is untrue it could easily be construed as defamatory. All he has left is to prove malicious intent and you've got a libel case.
So... Yeah... It is.

Well he has til end of summer. Spring intersession, session a, session b, summer intersession. Could easily pick up the credits he needs.

Nope. You misused "libel". Libel is written slander, and it would have to harm him in some way. And it's conjecture, not an accusation so doesn't fit.
Likewise, I challenge the privacy argument. Your hypothesis would be true if this were a medical condition. I have zero confidence you have a clue what you're talking about.

Does seem a little premature to write someone off even if his grades are low atm
