I'm trying to give you the opportunity to explain yourself before I respond, because on the surface that comment doesn't make any sense for multiple reasons.

Take a look at Bregman's stats from last year to this year.

OK, so this topic is off limits from this day forward? If this is the policy, we will soon run out of things to discuss.

Good lord, really? you're the childish idiot. Instead of being able to intelligently consider the current LSU hitting woes, ( 6 runs in the past 33 innings idiot) you insult the message like a little brat.

What is there to address? We're struggling at the plate right now and you're ready to fire everyone because of it.
You use Bregman's not-even-halfway-through-the-year stats as some indication that our players are regressing at the plate. You dismiss the notion of players ever getting better at LSU (cough Katz cough cough) due to "lack of instruction" per a players' parent (lol). You even pulled the Javi nepotism bullshite. Oh and 33 innings? What a massive sample size.
But I'm the immature little brat? Right.

Some of the posters here seem to be personally insulted by the observation that our hitting is typically sub-par. Makes you wonder if they are connected to the program somehow or related to a coach or player. Perhaps they are just in a hopeless state of denial. Can't face the truth.

My bad. LSU is knocking the cover off the ball, especially with runners in scoring position.

No it's more of the fact that there have been 20 different threads discussing the same topic.

Where exactly did I say we're knocking the cover off the ball?

Except for the fact that it's not typically sub-par. Maybe try and look at stats from the last 5 years and see how we stack up before shouting from the rooftops that we should fire Javi like an ignoramus.

Still waiting for the explanation of the Bregman stats comment. Thanks

I can't help you as you can't fix stupid. Keep waiting.

So you have no point at all then?

Overall our hitters do not seem to improve under the direction of this program. Compared to other power programs we struggle offensively. We occasionally are blessed with great talent like Rhymes and Bregman who skew the stats but even they seem to decline in production over time.
Show me stats they say otherwise.

LSU finished either 1st or 2nd in almost every hitting statistical category in the SEC last season, including batting average, runs scored and runs batted in. Was that "sub-par"?
Your comments make me wonder if you are an LSU fan or just another team's troll on this board.

So you have no idea what you're talking about, that's what I suspected but I wanted to give you the opportunity to prove me wrong.

False. Very false.

Wow. Don't even know where to begin with this abortion.

Give me stats for other years under PM compared to the other power programs.
Last year was our best year offensively under PM but they showed their true colors in the World Series.
True fans want the best and aren't afraid to face the truth.
