Please leave the facts out of this. According to Tommy, Natch Central made that kid at Vandy their bitch too.

Brian Bridgewater

Blast from the past. I used to see daily threads about this kid 3-4 years ago. I guess he never developed into what the experts were thinking he would be.

None at LSU. Maybe something decent elsewhere. He won't be at LSU next year. Bookmark this.

The real answer is we don't know. He hasn't practiced with the team and isn't able to play. We'll see what happens if he's on the team next year.

If he was able to practice with the team and be tutored under coach jones and the staff I would feel much better about Bridgewater. My biggest concern is how he has been developing himself over the past year.

That is a tough task to keep on the right track without a coaching staff pushing.

Ive seen him play numerous times, he can really help us.From what I hear he is working on his midrange game and his ball handling. I see him getting 10-15 minutes next year and float between 3-4.

Very minimal, IMO.

He's really fat right now. I'm good friends with some people in the program and I've heard the coaches don't really even want him on the team...

Why does Mickey think he's ready for the NBA?

Very good, he was MVP in 5A state championship game, very good player. Always thought he could be very good at LSU, saw him score 50 as a freshman in the playoffs. I am not sure of his status to even be on the team next year. Football IMO is his ticket, probably a Tasmin Mitchell type player in college and end up in Europe.

could he be as good as Rico?

Eh, Rico's game is built off of his athleticism and explosiveness. Bridge is more skilled than Rico for sure, but Bridge won't be one of our go-to playmakers, so a guy like Rico would probably be better on our team.

But then transferred to Scotlandville where he played SF for a state championship team and won MVP of said championship.

I attended that game. The kid played incredible basketball. Basketball isn't my strong suit, but I have been high on this guy since I watched him play.

If JOB leaves Mickey doesnt want to play center so Big Elbert better be ready.

Mickey is still going to be playing C. LSU will have a small ball rotation getting the most minutes, imo.

Brian Bridgewater, PF/SF, Baton Rouge (La.) Episcopal- Some would argue that the 6-foot-4 class of 2013 prospect belonged with the perimeter players. To his credit, he did shoot pretty well from distance and can handle some. However, his body is that of a big man and thanks to his strength and impressive seven foot wingspan he's able to operate in the post similar to the way former Texas star P.J. Tucker did. Brian Bridgewater, PF/SF, Baton Rouge (La.) Episcopal- Some would argue that the 6-foot-4 class of 2013 prospect belonged with the perimeter players. I have seen pictures of Bridgewater standing next to malik morgan and tim Quarterman, and Quarterman has him by several inches he and morgan or about the same height, but this article states that he has a 7ft. wingspan
