Moving to Bozeman, Montana?

Possibly have an opportunity to move to Bozeman, Montana in about a month and was wondering if any OTers had been there. I've never been, but it's consistently ranked as one of the best outdoor cities in all of America so it sounds like it would be awesome.
I've never lived anywhere near that far north so the winters make me a little nervous, but I feel like cold weather is a little different when you can go skiing, or snowmobiling, or sledding as opposed to like Chicago (where I've lived before) where you're just freezing your dick off for no reason.
Anyone ever lived there or somewhere similar? It would be for right about two years. TIA!

And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a recreational vehicle

Got stranded there for a couple days coming back from a ski trip a few years ago. Stayed at the "Come On Inn" and had myself a wonderful time.

it's in a valley surrounded my incredible forests/mtn ranges.

Ive traveled through there in July four or five years ago.,,
The weirdest thing about montana, for me, was the obvious effects of inbreeding. Just like southern Pennsylvania, there are tons of people with jaws too wide, heads too pointy, eyes too close together, and lower than average intelligence. That aspect was more than a little creepy.
