The lamest was how the final season of the show wrapped the Jim/Pam storyline up.
SPOILERS
Jim starting that sports agent business was total bullshite for his character (Darryl, ok). Then the writers wrote Pam to be a naggy little annoyance always giving Jim grief. They got it right when they wrote in the flashbacks to all the great times in Scranton, and Jim makes the decision to stay...

No, no, no. Jim should've stayed in Scranton, where he realized (much to his chagrined) that he had made a life and best friends. He should've remained as the Scranton branch manager supervising a new shithead just like him--with a gleam of irony in his eyes.

Jim was fine losing Amy Adams since she was an annoying character in the show, but then he went and lost Rashida Jones who on top of being smoking hot was also a pretty awesome character who wanted to be in on Jim's jokes, liked playing video games and seemed more likely to be into Jim's sports company.

I think Pam is disguised as likeable because she typifies the majority of women. She prioritizes security over happiness. But she had both at first. She friendzoned Jim big time, and why not? She has her emotional connection at work, and the big alpha male at home that will plow her and be her protector. Perfect situation. Even though Roy was emotionally limited as a boyfriend/potential husband, she was relatively assured that he would marry her, which is what pretty much every woman wants. And since Jim was there to supply that emotional security, all was well. Once Jim left for Stamford that changed her entire dynamic and left her powerless.
Maybe she broke up with Roy to get Jim to come back, or to change the relationship she had with Roy, or both. She clearly didn't shut the book on the Roy relationship, because they got back together again after Jim came back, as she tried to re-create what she had at the beginning of the series. But yeah, she's definitely manipulative, and wasn't something I caught on to until my third time watching the series.

There's a scene before Michael leaves it might be early in the series where Jim says he'll never be there forever and Micheal laughs and says I used to say the same thing.
They shouldve ended with Jim taking the job Michael left. Or shite they shouldve had his character take it earlier. It's hard to have any sympathy or empathy for Jim when you look at the constant opportunities to better himself that he turns down for no reason and the way he constantly breaks up with women while trying to get with Pam.

The writers almost went that way when they introduced the Plop and (whatever his name was) characters. But by then, it was too little too late, and those characters wouldn't have been strong enough foils for Jim.

Cause you hurt the Jim/Dwight dynamic, which is all they had left when Michael leaves. Of course they did that anyway by having Jim in Philly.

Nah. They separated Jim and Dwight several times, and the rivalry still lived on (the Michael Scott Paper Company, for example). Imagine Jim competing against Dwight as a manager of a different branch.

Those dudes sucked. It's like the writers decided to introduce them then just got to lazy to write their characters. They basically did nothing and had no qualities. Not hated or liked or funny or straight. Just kind of bland and in the way. They shouldve parted ways with some people and brought in some new characters instead of just adding them.
And don't even get me started on that disgusting fatass weird annoying unnecessary useless show killing joy ending British bitch they gave a cast role to. What the frick was that shite

This would be been amazing. Send Dwight to Stamford or something. Keep Jim at Scranton. Make them both managers. Set up a few new cast members and allow the characters to evolve to support and foil Jim and Dwight respectively while keeping the Dwight and Jim relationship alive.

Michael was definitely the heart of the show, but had the writer's re-arranged the pieces they had (with some new additions), they could've gotten so much more mileage out of the show.
So many of the seasons felt like half-hearted experiments with plugging new characters and storylines in here and there, and then casting them aside. No confidence or consistency. It's like the writers were so confined to the box of the show that they couldn't see the big picture like many of the fans.
