Overall, LSU will be even better next year with the incoming talent and player development. There will be many more options at guard and plenty of bigs.

If Mickey and Martin come along as expected, the Tigers will be a tourney team.

I don't think LSU makes it in

Hope they do but I'm used to being disappointed with this team

We needed to win at least 2 if not 3 in the Tourney to make it. II pains me to say it, but I don't feel they deserve a bid. Too many bad losses. (and FRICK this CBI shite...is that even televised? Put that money back in the recruiting budget)

It would be weird if the committee overrates WV and St. Mary's like this guy, who thinks Green Bay is getting into the Big Dance over SMU (would stun me).

Plus, Middle Tennessee did not beat anybody good in their league and has a whopping two total wins versus the RPI top 140. Ole Miss has a worse resume than LSU and should not get a big bump for a home OT win over the Tigers. We'll see.

Yeah, we won't accept a bid to the CBI, nor should we.

If you believe in the value of extra practice time and game experience, the CBI is a good thing. But I assume LSU would reject an invite.

Purdue and Texas accepted bids last year. We need Martin to get as many games in him as possible. I would rather a few more games vs shutting it down for the year.

which we need but alleva is a clown. If CJJ actually agrees with the decision then id be highly disappointed in him.

It's about the money. We're not going to travel to play a game in some bad mid-major team's arena.

And God forbid if LSU loses that game. We probably wouldn't be that motivated anyway.

Hopefully we're in the NIT - I think we deserve it, with outstanding performances against UMass, Kentucky TWICE, Missouri, and Bama in the tourney.

However, if we don't, it should be up to the coach, not our bean counter AD, if we go to the CBI.

Seriously though, Skip still seems like he's in good shape, could we please bring him back instead of that clown Alleva?

I'm honestly not sure extra practice is much of a benefit to this team. Because from my observations this year our preparation/practice template is eihter flawed or it's not getting across.

Cause we keep making the same fundamental mistakes over and over.

And they beat A-10 champion St. Joe's.
