I don't know if we talk enough about just how impressive he was in '09. We essentially just tossed him out there, and he comes out as a LHP hovering around 90-92 with a filthy slider.

Yeah it was impressive. Remember he started the season in RF, then he moved across the foul line to the bullpen.
Wasn't our starting outfield at the start of that season Mitchell in Left, Landry in Center, and Jones in Right? Then at the end of the season it was Schimpf (sp), Mahtook, and Mitchell left to right.

I think it's amazing that him and Jarred Mitchel both won titles in two different sports. How many times has that happened in history ever? The number has to be super low.
