A lot of the older Star Wars fans (at the time ROTJ came out) disliked the Ewoks. I was 7 at the time and didn't care, but looking back years later it was clear that Lucas was going the Jim Henson route in ROTJ and trying to make more money on merchandising. The Ewoks were very popular in the mid 80's.

I hate the ewoks and I think they severely hurt what could've been a much better movie.
ESB is the best of the three and Lucas wasn't the director.

I love that crazy YouTube critique of Ep 1. I never fully appreciated how awful it was until seeing it broken down like that.

Way, way too obvious. The only thing that could have made it worse was to praise the acting in Episodes I, II, III as being better.
