Will be there for a conference this weekend, never been before.
I'm not sure how much down time I will have, but in case I do end up with a good amount, what does the OT recommend to check out?
TIA.

Savannah is really nice. I liked it a lot. I stayed in the historic district when I went. Check out the riverwalk. We even drove out to Hilton Head and checked out the beach. Totally worth the drive.

I enjoyed river street.
A few pubs, shops, and a few art galleries that are pretty cool to walk in and check out.

I remember a lot of bums around...they seemed to be everywhere.

Ghost Tour. Take a ride on the river ferry. Hang out on river Street. Go to Wet Willies on River Street and get a call-a-cab, then sit and enjoy watching the ships come into port as you drink your call-a-cab. Go to Tybee Island and eat at "the Crab Shack"

+1. I'll be there in a month, and will do this. Great time of year to eat outside.

Not for a conference huh? Would be funny if we had to go down for the same thing.
