Her parents made her into the entitled, spoiled brat that she is today. For them to have a sudden change of heart and start disciplining her after 18 years of pampering is a problem.

this is arguable. their demands werent at all unreasonable. It sounds like the young girl has to get a grip on reality.

I haven't read the document yet, but she wants support through the end of college?!

The problem is that if you let a child get whatever they want for 18 years and then say "no" for anything, they're going to flip out.
Those parents are 100% to blame for how their daughter turned out. You don't want a spoiled, entitled brat? Don't nurture a sense of entitlement and don't spoil your kid.
These people are freaking out because the kid they spoiled is acting like a spoiled brat. You reap what you sow.

maybe, but she should in no way be entitled to what she is claiming she deserves.

I honestly don't care how this case is resolved. I just think that the parents are to blame for this. If they had raised heir daughter instead of coddling her, this wouldn't have happened.

My only concern is that I don't want precedent set by this lawsuit.

you would be ok if the outcome of this case sets a prscedent that bratty kids can do whatever the hell they want, even when they are of legal age, and the parents will have to foot the bill?

Yep. It will teach parents that they are responsible for how their kids turn out. Maybe it will teach people to stop spoiling their kids and to stop instilling a sense of entitlement in them.
News flash: kids don't become spoiled brats out of thin air. It takes years of shitty parenting.

Keep in mind that I support legislation to include parents in he punishment for their children's misdeeds.
