40 years old.

6'0". 260 lbs. down from 286.

Losing 26 pounds at that age is pretty impressive. How long'd that take?

Like some others have said, running isn't the best way. Unless you like to run I guess.

Do high-intensity intervals. Cardio 30 min, weights, cardio, weights, cardio, weights, finish with cardio. There are a lot of different programs out there.
